I have a business trip to Bangkok last week. And considering the location, we decided to stay at Grand Mercure Fortune Bangkok. It is located at 1 Rachadaphisek Road, Fortune Town, Dindaeng, Bangkok. Based on information that we got from Google Map , it’s only about 500m from our meeting venue. It is important for you to consider about the hotel location and your meeting venue, because Bangkok has a bad traffic especially on peak hours.

I arrived at this hotel on around 7 pm. It is only 22 km from DMK to Grand Mercure Fortune Hotel actually, but it took 2 (two) hours by taxi -even we took high way due to a very heavy traffic jam. The service staff at reception was very helpful during check-in. They also prepared welcome drink for me. I am not sure whether it was a general service or it’s a complimentary for my membership in Le Club AccorHotels.

I stay in 16th floor. The room met my expectations. Clean, smells good and large.

One of the most important thing is bathroom, right? So how is the bathroom? For me, no disappointment despite missing hair conditioner and body lotion. It’s clean and not really large but still meet my expectation.

And how was the breakfast? I like the view from the restaurant. And always take a seat near the window. If you look outside, it’s feel like in Jakarta actually.

I can say that i satisfied with the breakfast menu. And during my visit, i only took these three menus. But sad that they do not have coffee machine.

The last but not least, i love the city view 🙂

I will recommended this hotel to you. The hotel is very well located, it’s very near to Phra Ram 9 MRT Station and only a few minutes walking range from shopping mall and food court. Central Rama 9 is just opposite the hotel and they have connecting door with Fortune Mall. About the price, i think it is affordable.
